The Trainer Card (accessible by selecting your name on the touch screen's X menu) is a summary of your status in the game. The ultimate goal is to collect all five stars, thus completing all of the major objectives in the game.

The information shown on the card is as follows:

  • The number of Pokémon in your Pokédex
  • Your score, a numerical representation of your in-game achievements

Golden Leaves

There are five "special spots" scattered throughout Johto/Kanto that will make each of your Pokémon super happy! The locations of these spots are dependent upon your Pokémon's nature, which is shown on the first line of its Trainer Memo.

What you have to do is take your Pokémon to a patch of grass and face it to find out its mood. If you found the right spot, your Pokémon should show an exclamation mark (!), jump, turn left, turn right, and then sing (♪ mark)...in this exact order! Your Pokémon will receive a gold leaf under the heading かがやくはっぱ (Kagayaku Happa, lit. "brilliantly shining leaf") under its Trainer Memo.

Below are the routes where you can obtain golden leaves for each nature. Keep in mind that the patches of grass are still random, so you'll have to move around to find the right one.
