Routes 30 & 31

Walkthrough

After walking past the first patch of grass, you will come across a house in which a man lives. Talk to him and he will give you a pouch to carry Apricorns. There is also an Apricorn tree outside of his house.
North of his house, trainers are blocking the path on the west, so for now, you can only walk over to Mr. Pokémon's house on the east end. The path is simple, so all you need to worry about are the wild Pokemon.
Once inside, you'll meet with Mr. Pokémon and Professor Oak of Kanto. You will receive a Pokédex from Oak, and an Egg containing togepi from Mr. Pokémon; upon leaving, a desperate call from Professor Elm asking you to return to New Bark Town.
After returning to New Bark Town you go into Prof. Elm's lab, and meet an Officer, Prof. Elm, and a girl. The Officer will ask you what your Rival's name is. (you battled your Rival on the way back) and then leave. After you exit the Lab and head back the girl will be outside. You will start to follow her and she will show you how to catch Pokémon, and give you 5 Pokéball's.
