Walkthrough
On the way up the route you will see your rival (the one who doesn't have red hair) and she/he will take you into the daycare. She/He will give you her/his phone number and then leave, then the breeder will give you his phone number as well. You can leave up to two Pokemon at the daycare, and if they are compatible, they will create an egg that you can pick up from the daycare man.
There are a few other things you can do. The police officer near the end of the route will only fight you at night. You can also come back here when you have surf and fight several trainers that have Lv. 20+ water Pokemon.
