Route 29

Map of Route 29. To the west is Cherrygrove City; to the north is Route 46; and to the east is New Bark Town.

After you leave New Bark Town you enter this route. Pokémon that appear here are from Lv. 2 to 4

Objectives

There is not really that much to do here. If you head west of the first patches of grass and then head over to the top right, you can find a Potion. A little more west there is a building connecting to a route you can't access except for a patch of grass at the bottom.

Continue westward, knowing that there are no trainers to fight yet. You should come across an Apricorn tree...but you can't take the fruit yet! You need a case to hold them in for that! Instead, continue onward.

This route is overall very straightforward. All the Pokemon you can catch here are Normal Type, though Hoothoot and Pidgey are part Flying. Suggested to stay and fight a couple Pokémon to level up your starter.

Proceed to Cherrygrove City!
