Pewter City
On the right side of the city there is a old man on a plateau. Go talk with him and receive the Rainbow Wing (SoulSilver) or Silver Wing (HeartGold), the item you receive permits you access to the home of HO-OH (in SoulSilver) or Lugia (in HeartGold).
Pewter City Gym
Pewter City Gym specializes in Rock type Pokemon, and is led by Brock.
Leader Brock
- Rhyhorn - Lv. 51 (Rock/Ground), 1475 Exp
- Omastar - Lv. 53 (Rock/Water), 2260 Exp
- Onix - Lv. 54 (Rock/Ground), 1250 Exp
- Kabutops - Lv. 52 (Rock/Water), 2240 Exp
Prizes: Boulder Badge, TM80 (Rock Slide)
Strategy: Any Pokemon with a Grass-type attack will do very well in this gym, as every Pokemon Brock is using is X4 weak to Grass.
Important Note: Some time after you beat him, Brock, will trade you a Rhyhorn for your Bonsly. His Rhyhorn knows the egg move; Thunder Fang, it will also be holding a Passho Berry.

Important Note: You don't rematch the Gym Leader at their respective gyms, but instead in the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City of the Kanto Region.
You must first meet the Gym Leader outside of their Gym (which is in a set place at set times), where you obtain their phone number. You can then phone them for a rebattle at certain times, and they will be waiting in the Fighting Dojo.
Enigma Crystal Event
This event will allow you to get the other lati@s. What you do is take the enigma crystal to the fossil museum and the reaearchers will tell you it is actually soul dew. Then you leave the museum and once you get outside the lati@s will appear and you can battle it to catch it.
